Shubha, a self-taught cake artist, has always dreamt of opening her own patisserie. Her dream came true with the establishment of De Bon Goût, driven by her motto of providing everyone with the quality she would want for her daughter. Born to Dr. Brij Bhushan Vashishtha, a renowned horticulture scientist, and Mrs. Shashi Vashishtha, who overcame physical challenges to pursue her passions, Shubha was inspired from a young age. As the third of four siblings, she always aspired to have her own business. Her passion for baking began in school, with her first cake baked in the 9th grade. Despite earning a master’s in Public Administration and GNIIT (MCA), and working in various roles including as a Computer Science teacher, Shubha returned to her true love—baking. She reignited her passion after her daughter Druvi’s first birthday, determined to provide her with unadulterated treats.

Committed to premium quality and hygiene, De Bon Goût established its first cloud kitchen in Baner, Pune on June 2, 2023. On June 2, 2024, De Bon Goût opened its doors to a storefront in Vision One Mall, Wakad. This new location continues to offer the same exquisite taste and flavors, delighting customers and tantalizing their taste buds.
